Dirty Sock Effects

FAQs

Do you offer international shipping?
Of course! We may be tucked away in the corner of the globe, but I will ship your pedal anywhere in the world (within reason!).
Please note that the listed price does not include any customs, duties, taxes, tariffs, or other additional fees which may result from importing our pedals internationally.

How long will my new pedal take to arrive?

Orders are shipped out every weekday. Australian orders generally arrive in less than a week, and in 1-2 days for express. International orders can take up to 3 weeks to arrive, but are generally quicker. Please consider International Express if you are a in hurry.

My pedal isn't working right, can you fix it for me?
Of course. All Dirty Sock Effects pedals come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, component failures and problems resulting during normal use. In the event of failure I will send you a replacement or repair your exisiting unit.
We have a pretty generous understanding of "normal use" (these are designed to be kicked around!), but may make exceptions in extreme cases, or if the pedal has been powered incorrectly.

I'm not the original owner or the pedal, will you still honour your warranty?
Definitely. If you've picked up one of my pedals second-hand and are having problems, get in touch and I'll sort you out.

What power supply should I use to power my pedal?
I strongly recommend the use of an isolated power supply to power your pedals (Cioks and Voodoo Labs make great ones!) for lowest noise operation. Often noise problems are mischarcterised as a fault in the pedal, when infact they are being used with a noisy or under-spec'd power supply. At the very least please use a 9VDC Centre Negative, 2.1mm barrel power supply. Different polarities and higher voltages can result in damage that is not covered by warranty.
My pedals do not include a battery clip (disposable batteries are awful for the environment!)

I'm not totally happy with my pedal, can I return it?
I hope that you have as much fun with my pedals as much I did designing them! But in the event that your new pedal isn't quite right for you, let me know and we can sort something out. Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
If something isn't quite right or you're not totally happy, please drop me an email before you post angry things on the internet, I want to make sure everyone is happy!
